The Crook County Cowboys will take on Caldera at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.
Crook County is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Summit on Wednesday as they made off with a 20-5 victory. The win continues a trend for the Cowboys in their matchups with the Storm: they've now won eight in a row.

Claire Leseman was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two triples, four RBI, and two runs. Those two triples gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Kendall Martinez was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Tevarii Pennington, who went 3-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and two RBI.
Crook County kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 21 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4.8 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 11.
Meanwhile, Caldera made easy work of Summit on Friday and carried off a 15-1 victory. The result was nothing new for Caldera, who have now won 14 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.
Like Crook County, Caldera also got a great game from a two-way player: Brooke Chapin. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Chapin was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Caldera got a massive performance out of Makenzie Guerin, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Avery Keldsen, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.
Crook County's win bumped their record up to 11-16. As for Caldera, their victory bumped their record up to 23-1.
