The Maimonides M-Cats lost against the Pioneer Valley Christian Eagles last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The matchup between both teams wasn't particularly close, with Maimonides falling 64-47. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points they have scored all season.
Despite the loss, Maimonides still got an impressive performance from Leah Kaplan, who scored 21 points. Eden Taieb was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Maimonides has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Pioneer Valley Christian, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Maimonides will head out on the road to face off against Ursuline Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pioneer Valley Christian, they will be playing at home against Commerce at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
