Marlington has gone a perfect 10-0 against Alliance recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Dukes will look to defend their home field against the Aviators at 5:00 p.m. Marlington will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
Marlington is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Salem with a sharp 19-4 victory on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Dukes, who have now won seven games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Justine Doringo was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Chelsea Miller was incredible, firing off two home runs, five runs, and seven RBI while going 4-for-5. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2025. Aaliyah Williams was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.
Marlington kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in eight consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Alliance beat Carrollton 4-1 on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Aviators in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won three in a row.
Like Marlington, Alliance also got a great game from a two-way player: Lilly White. On the mound, she struck out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. White was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one triple.
In other batting news, Tasia Hendershot and Aubrie Lunsford did most of the damage at the plate: Hendershot went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI, while Lunsford went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.
Alliance's victory bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Marlington, their win bumped their record up to 14-5.
Alliance's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Marlington has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .466. It's a different story for Alliance, though, as they've only averaged .363. Will they be able to contain Marlington's hitters?
