Evangel Christian found their leader in underclassman Richaun Martin, who scored 17 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Martin has scored at least 25% of Evangel Christian's points. Marshall Starborough was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Evangel Christian's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Trinity Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Evangel Christian will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Commonwealth Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on December 8th. As for Trinity Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Washington Latin Public Charter School at 6:15 p.m.
