Omaha North's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Buena Vista, posting a 60-0 win. Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for South Sioux City's offense. They were beaten by Bellevue West 65-0 on Friday. The Cardinals' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.
The victory made it two in a row for Omaha North and bumps their season record up to 4-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points over those games. As for South Sioux City, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
