The Saint James Saints will head out on the road to  take on  the Flint Hill Huskies  at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Saint James has seven straight  wins, Flint Hill has 11 straight  losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Saint James is headed in fresh off scoring the most  points they have   all season. They claimed a resounding  59-21 victory over Potomac School. Given the Saints' advantage  in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 43rd in Maryland, while the Panthers are ranked 148th in Virginia) , the win on Saturday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Saint James' win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Joshua Davies, who rushed for 160 yards and a pair of  TDs on only 15 carries. Those  160  rushing yards gave  Davies a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Jayden Yates, who rushed for 59 yards and two  scores on only seven carries.
 They were just one part of a punishing run game: Saint James was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 318  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've managed all season.

 Meanwhile, Flint Hill was beaten by Maret 57-22 on Friday.
 Flint Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Saint James, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.
 Saint James beat Flint Hill 40-30  in their previous matchup  back in November of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Saints since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
