Basketball Recap: Riverside Skates Past Eastside with Ease

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Riverside on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Eastside Eagles out of the water with a 64-18 final score. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 17th, while the Eagles are ranked 134th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Riverside's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Elly Trickett, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. The match was Trickett's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Powell, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten boards.
