Brantley had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Autauga Academy Generals 16-5 on Friday. Considering the Bulldogs have won 14 matches by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Brantley is on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Autauga Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-18.

Brantley will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Generals: the pair will be back at it again later today.
