While it was all tied up 22-22 at halftime, the Pinellas Park Patriots were not quite the Indian Rocks Christian Eagles's equal in the second half on Thursday. Pinellas Park fell 42-34 to the Eagles. Pinellas Park was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2021.
Indian Rocks Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Malia Stevens, who scored 14 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Ruth Moyer, who scored four points along with 12 rebounds and three steals.
This is the second loss in a row for Pinellas Park and nudges their season record down to 5-11. As for Indian Rocks Christian, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
Pinellas Park will take on the Terriers at TBD on Monday. Hillsborough is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Indian Rocks Christian, they will take on the Crusaders at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
