The Jefferson Bears will square off against the Cabrini Monarchs at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Jefferson is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 24-4 margin over Britton Deerfield on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bears considering their two-run performance the game before.
Jalee Leach looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched.

At the plate, Alivia LeBrun was incredible, going 3-for-4 with six RBI, four runs, and one stolen base. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Grube, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Jefferson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .650. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Cabrini beat Gabriel Richard 9-4 on Wednesday.
Catherine Schumm was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 16 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off two hits. Schumm was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jodi Browning, who got on base in two of her five plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Sarah Gondek was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs.
Cabrini's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Jefferson, their victory bumped their record up to 4-14.
