Alexander also got help from Julius Vaughn, who showed off his sure hands for 100 receiving yards.

Alexander wouldn't let Marshall keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Alexander can thank Luis Quintero and Hector Benavides for forcing both of them. Quintero's also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making 11 total tackles. Another thorn in Marshall's side was Frankie J. Fuentes, who picked up a sack and made 20 total tackles (4.0 for loss).
Meanwhile, Gregory-Portland didn't have quite enough to beat Calallen on Friday and fell 42-40. Gregory-Portland was down 42-20 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
