It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Rejoice Christian Eagles can now relate to. They were outmatched by Victory Christian on the road and fell 40-7. Rejoice Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
It was another big night for Ayden Hamilton, who rushed for 225 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also threw for 98 yards and two touchdowns. Hamilton's longest rush was for an incredible 74 yards. Eric Peterson and his 85 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Victory Christian's victory.
Rejoice Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Victory Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.
Rejoice Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Victory Christian will take on Prague at TBD on Friday. Prague is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
