Football Recap: Fort Wayne Wayne Comes Up Short

Fort Wayne Wayne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 31-18 to the Fort Wayne Snider Panthers. The Generals were not able to make up for their loss to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Fort Wayne Wayne lost, don't look at Jayce White. Despite the final result, he threw for 188 yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 37 yards and one TD. A healthy portion of White's aerial production (83 yards to be exact) went to Jaston White.

Fort Wayne Wayne's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Fort Wayne Snider, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Fort Wayne Wayne and Fort Wayne Snider will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Generals will take on rival Fort Wayne South Side at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Fort Wayne Snider is set to face off against their familiar foe Carroll at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
