The Lehi Pioneers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. Everything went their way against Pleasant Grove as Lehi made off with a 69-46 win. With that victory, Lehi brought their scoring average up to 51 points per game.
Lehi had a senior duo take command as Sammie Love went 6 for 7 from beyond the arc en route to 23 points and 2 assists and Addy Scrivner scored 16 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Love has scored all season. Hadlie Warren was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with seven assists and two steals.
Despite the loss, Pleasant Grove saw an underclassman step up: Tabi Clark scored 15 points along with five blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Amber Cook, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
Lehi is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. As for Pleasant Grove, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lehi will challenge the Cavemen at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Pleasant Grove's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Knights at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Lone Peak will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
