San Tan Foothills' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jaylen Fulton, who posted 23 points. That's the most points Fulton has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Julius Carlisle, who scored 19 points.
Meanwhile, Snowflake humbled Blue Ridge with a 56-27 victory. The Lobos have beaten the Yellow Jackets the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Yellow Jackets has come to flipping the script.
San Tan Foothills better keep an eye on Asher Brewer. He was instrumental in Snowflake's win, dropping a double-double with 17 points and 15 boards. Brewer continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Christian Smith was another key player, going 5 for 8 on his way to 13 points.
Snowflake smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in seven consecutive matchups.
San Tan Foothills' record is now 13-14. As for Snowflake, their record now sits at 16-9.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as the two teams are some of the highest-scoring teams around. San Tan Foothills hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 56.3 points per game. However, it's not like Snowflake struggles in that department as they've been averaging 56.9 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can put up more.
San Tan Foothills came up short against Snowflake in their previous matchup back in February of 2020, falling 56-52. Can San Tan Foothills avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
