Bremerton extended the longest winning streak in 2A Olympic this week by beating Port Angeles, 63-7. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
North Kitsap moved up to 145 from 174 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. A 48-18 win over North Mason helped the Vikings improve their standing.
Jack Wiker and Jack Wiker gave Sequim a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. Wiker threw for 74 yards and four touchdowns, while Wiker ran for 144 yards. Teammate Lopaka Yasamura added to the ground attack by rushing for 62 yards.
Josh Ganowski was the best wideout in the league this week as Klahowya bested Olympic. Ganowski tallied four receptions for 47 yards. Grady Bashore helped Klahowya's passing attack out by catching one ball for 27 yards.
Klahowya's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Eagles feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jacob Sheets has thrown for 853 yards and nine touchdowns this season, while Ganowski has 28 catches for 590 yards. Latrell Simpson leads the league in rushing with 622 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Bremerton takes on Kingston. At the moment, the Knights are in first, while the Buccaneers are in fifth.
The Eagles and the Trojans played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with the Eagles eventually emerging with a 15-14 victory. Sheets threw for 102 yards and one touchdown and ran for 62 yards in the win.
