Basketball Game Preview: Randolph-Macon Academy Yellow Jackets vs. Foxcroft

Randolph-Macon Academy and Foxcroft are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2019, but not for long. The Randolph-Macon Academy Yellow Jackets will head out to face off against Foxcroft at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Randolph-Macon Academy's defense has only allowed 27.7 points per game this season, so Foxcroft's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Last Friday, everything came up roses for Randolph-Macon Academy against Tandem Friends as the team secured a 41-9 victory. The Yellow Jackets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Bijou Kebbay and Kay Perry were among the main playmakers for Randolph-Macon Academy as the former posted 16 points and the latter scored ten points. The game was Kebbay's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Dleanna Hoosain was another key player, putting up four points.

Meanwhile, Foxcroft won against Quantico back in December of 2024 with 46 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. Foxcroft took down Quantico 46-27. That's two games straight that Foxcroft has won by exactly 19 points.

The win made it two in a row for Randolph-Macon Academy and bumps their season record up to 5-2. As for Foxcroft, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Randolph-Macon Academy beat Foxcroft 40-31 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Randolph-Macon Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
