Providence Classical Christian lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the defeat they were handed on last Friday was a bit more commanding. They took a serious blow against Covington Academy, falling 87-49.
Meanwhile, Academe of the Oaks was beaten by the Panthers 74-21 on Thursday.
Providence Classical Christian has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Academe of the Oaks, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.
Providence Classical Christian came up short against the Firebirds when the teams last played back in January, falling 50-37. Can Providence Classical Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
