St. Thomas Aquinas' offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 22 first-half points. Pelham wasn't quite able to keep up, scoring 13 to make it 22-13 heading into the break. The other side of the ball was dominant for St. Thomas Aquinas in the second half, holding Pelham to a measly 0 points.
The win was the 3rd in a row for St. Thomas Aquinas raised their record to 7-1. The loss dropped Pelham back to even at 4-4.
The teams are both focusing on improving their conference standings in their upcoming contests. Next week St. Thomas Aquinas will take on Hollis-Brookline at 2:00 PM. Both of those teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins. As for Pelham, they will face off against Manchester West. Neither of these teams wants a repeat from their last game since each was dealt a considerable loss.
