The Kares haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on RYEN COVEY, who went 2-for-4 with four runs, three RBI, and one double. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of EVONNY ORTEGA, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Bishop Conaty-Loretto came out on top against Alhambra on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run seventh inning. The Wildcats were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Moors. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Jaslyn Sigaran spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Angelique Aguillon was excellent, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with two RBI. Kaylee Parra was another key player, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with two RBI.
Bishop Conaty-Loretto always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .537. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Alhambra only posted an OBP of .138.
Bishop Conaty-Loretto's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-8. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Rio Hondo Prep, their win bumped their record up to 11-4.
Everything went Rio Hondo Prep's way against Bishop Conaty-Loretto in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Rio Hondo Prep made off with a 15-5 victory. Will the Kares repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
