Kaden Chester was his usual excellent self, rushing for 65 yards and five TDs. Those five rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Jayden Farley also helped out with an impressive 82 receiving yards.
Worth County's defensive line stepped up as well, laying out the QB seven times. Joshua McGee was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up four sacks himself. Worth County got some further help from Chance Sims: he made 12 total tackles (5.0 for loss) and defended one pass in addition to snagging two interceptions.
Meanwhile, Berrien played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Jeff Davis, falling 42-14. The Rebels were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.
Worth County's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Berrien, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
Everything came up roses for Worth County against Berrien in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 47-0 victory.
