Sadie Borrelli and Carissa Wenner were a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Borrelli struck out ten batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). Meanwhile, Wenner pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, she gave up only zero walks, the fewest she's had since back in April of 2024.
