Loganville Christian Academy will bounce into Friday's game after beating Lakeview Academy, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. Loganville Christian Academy came out on top against Lakeview Academy by a score of 21-14 on Friday. The score was all tied up 14-14 at the break, but Loganville Christian Academy was the (much) better team in the second half.

Kylan Fryar continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 49 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also throwing for 171 yards and one TD. He is also on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last three games he's played.
Loganville Christian Academy didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Lakeview Academy to a completion percentage of just 35.3%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from one players: Braylon Griffin, who each logged one passes deflected. Loganville Christian Academy wasn't nearly as limited: they posted one of 59.1%.

Meanwhile, St. Anne-Pacelli beat Westfield School 28-16 on Friday.
St. Anne-Pacelli's win came from a few key players Loganville Christian Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Donovan 'DJ' Colvin, who rushed for 94 yards and one score. Another player making a difference was Dustin Sherman, who threw for 139 yards and a pair of TDs on only ten passes.
One reason for the win was St. Anne-Pacelli's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. In that department, Keyon Williams was the leader with two. He has become a key player for St. Anne-Pacelli: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least one sack, but 2-4 otherwise.
Loganville Christian Academy's record now sits at 7-3. As for St. Anne-Pacelli, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Loganville Christian Academy has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 178.5 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like St. Anne-Pacelli struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 192.4 rushing yards.
