Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Seaman). They came out on top against the Maize Eagles by a score of 74-64 on Thursday. The Vikings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Maize's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brayden Myovela, who went 7 for 10 on his way to 22 points in addition to seven boards and six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Alec Grill, who went 6 of 14 en route to 17 points and seven assists.

Seaman pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.7 points per game. As for Maize, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-4.

Seaman didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 46-45 loss against Olathe Northwest on the 24th. Maize has also already played their next game, a 64-51 victory against Garden City on the 24th.
