When it comes to explaining why Dayton lost, one person who can't be blamed is Luke Sherman. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Preston Benjamin, who scored six points.
Dayton's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Johnson, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Dayton will be home for the holidays to greet Roselle Park at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Johnson, they will head out on the road to face off against New Providence at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
