On Friday East Catholic will have to hit the road after three straight games at home. After each having a week off, they and the Bloomfield Warhawks will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 6:30 p.m. East Catholic is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 31.2 points per game this season.
While East Catholic didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-6), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 27-20 win over Tolland two weeks ago.

Bloomfield got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Cameron White out in front who threw for 125 yards and two touchdowns on only nine passes, and also rushed for 35 yards and a touchdown. Another player making a difference was Marlon Britton, who rushed for 116 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries.
He was just one part of a punishing run game: Bloomfield was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 343 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
East Catholic's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. As for Bloomfield, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
