Beckman won the last time they faced Capistrano Valley, and Marina Babayani did her part to make sure it happened again. The Patriots claimed a resounding 48-0 win over the Cougars for which the team can thank Babayani, who threw for 273 yards and seven touchdowns while completing 86.2% of her passes, and also rushed for 68 yards. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 3.2 passing touchdowns per game.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Beckman, bringing their record up to 10-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 36.5 points over those games. As for Capistrano Valley, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Beckman is set to take on their familiar foe Tesoro at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Patriots their first taste of in-conference action this season. Meanwhile, Capistrano Valley will face off against rival El Dorado at 1:50 p.m. on Saturday.
