There's no place like home for Midland Legacy, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Tuesday. They secured  a  65-61 W over the San Angelo Central Bobcats on Friday. Midland Legacy was led to victory by  Diego Rodriguez and  Ja'Varion Starling.  Rodriguez  went 10 of 22  on his way to 35 points and five  rebounds, while  Starling  dropped  a double-double on 14  points and 13  boards. Rodriguez continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Tristine Turner, who  posted five  points and six  rebounds.
 Midland Legacy was working as a unit and  finished the game with 11  assists. That's the most  assists they've posted since back in December of 2024.
Midland Legacy's victory bumped their record up to 18-13. As for San Angelo Central,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 23-10.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Midland Legacy will welcome Odessa  at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Midland Legacy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for San Angelo Central, they will be playing at home against Midland  at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
