This season hasn't been kind to the Marco Island Academy Rays, who are still winless after their fourth game. Marco Island Academy has not had much luck with Donahue Catholic recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Another player making a difference was Scholastica Niewald, who scored nine points along with seven steals and six rebounds.
Marco Island Academy's defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-4. As for Donahue Catholic, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marco Island Academy will take on Southwest Florida Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Southwest Florida Christian comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Donahue Catholic, they will head out on the road to face off against Community School of Naples at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
