The Jackson Prep Patriots will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Hartfield Academy Hawks at 7:15 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Mississippi (Jackson Prep is ranked 12th, while the Hawks are ranked 30th).
Last Tuesday, Jackson Prep came up short against the Raiders and fell 52-39.
Meanwhile, Hartfield Academy didn't have too much trouble with the Bobcats at home on Tuesday as they won 53-35. The win was just what Hartfield Academy needed coming off of a 83-40 defeat in their prior game.
Jackson Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 20-8. As for Hartfield Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season.
Jackson Prep strolled past the Hawks when the teams last played back in January by a score of 51-36. Will Jackson Prep repeat their success, or do the Hawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
