Volleyball Recap: Cheshire Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Rowan Byrnes and Gabby Scotti + How To Watch

After flying high against Lauralton Hall on Monday, Cheshire came back down to earth. The Rams came up short against the Amity Regional Spartans on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Spartans: they've now lost three in a row.

While Cheshire had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-18, 25-21.

Cheshire's loss came despite strong showings from Gabby Scotti and Rowan Byrnes. Scotti had 15 digs and two aces, while Byrnes had 17 assists. Scotti is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Lily Simons was a one-woman wrecking crew For Amity Regional. as she had 21 digs and two aces.

Cheshire's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Amity Regional, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.
