After low-scoring totals in their previous four contests, Humboldt brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They put the hurt on Gleason with a sharp 68-42 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for Humboldt as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: South Fulton lost to Lake County last Friday, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 22-67. South Fulton were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 6-61.
Humboldt's win lifted them to 1-6 while South Fulton's defeat dropped them down to 1-6. We'll see if Humboldt's success rolls on or if South Fulton are able to steal their positive momentum.
