It was another big night for Jason Scott, who shot 4-for-10 from long range and dropped a double-double on 27 points and ten rebounds for Westbury Christian. Scott has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times he's played. Sebastian Mackey was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Alpha Omega Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Westbury Christian, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-13.
Alpha Omega Academy will head out on the road to face off against Northland Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Northland Christian has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 2. As for Westbury Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Faith West Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Faith West Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1591st, while Westbury Christian is ranked 422nd).
