Algonac had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They never let the Imlay City Spartans get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. This was payback for Algonac, who suffered a 4-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Algonac's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those three games. As for Imlay City, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Algonac is set to square off against their familiar foe Armada at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Imlay City will challenge rival Richmond at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
