Baseball Recap: Liberal's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Liberal had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Purdy Eagles on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Liberal's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Purdy, they moved to 9-4 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Coincidentally, Liberal and Purdy will both be playing Galena the next time they take the field. The Eagles will head out to face the Bulldogs at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
