The North Mustangs will face off against the Alhambra Lions at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
North fought the good fight in their extra-innings  game against North Canyon  on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They came up short against  the Rattlers, falling  18-10. The Mustangs just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

 Solis Coker spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned  (and 14 unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances.

Meanwhile, Alhambra lost  31-7 to McClintock on Friday.
  Deidrea Tree was cooking despite her team's loss,   going a perfect 3-for-3 with three  RBI and one  double. The team also got some help courtesy of  Alondra Mercado, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-2.
 Alhambra's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for North, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.
