After a string of four wins, Scranton's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 55-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Magazine Rattlers. The Rockets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rattlers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Scranton's loss dropped their record down to 15-3. As for Magazine, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-5.

Scranton will finish 2024 at home by hosting Guy-Perkins at 4:00 p.m. on December 28th. Scranton is facing Guy-Perkins at the right time seeing as Guy-Perkins is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Magazine, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Oden at 8:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
