On Monday, the IMG Academy Ascenders were fully in charge, breezing past the DME Academy Blue - 81-48. The Ascenders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 20 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why DME Academy Blue lost, don't look at MATTIA ORLANDI. Despite the final result, he posted 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of LIONEL TOSCANINI, who put up seven points in addition to five assists and five boards.

IMG Academy's victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for DME Academy Blue, their loss dropped their record down to 14-13.

IMG Academy will be taking part in a tournament against Dynamic Prep on Thursday. One thing working in Dynamic Prep's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for DME Academy Blue, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 81-61 win against Varsity Opponent on the 21st.
