Water Valley is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Houlka on Tuesday as they made off with a 26-7 victory. The Blue Devils haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Bethany Adams made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with four stolen bases, four runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2025.

In other batting news, Abbi Roberson was a standout: she got on base in four of her five plate appearances with five stolen bases, four runs, and four RBI. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Mariah Wilson was another key player, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with four runs, five RBI, and one stolen base.
Lake Cormorant might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 4-3 to Saltillo, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The loss continues a trend for Lake Cormorant in their meetings with Saltillo: they've now lost eight in a row.
Lake Cormorant saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kayleigh Kendall, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.
Water Valley's victory bumped their record up to 2-14. As for Lake Cormorant, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.
