It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Verdugo Hills Dons had no problem doing just that on Friday. They breezed by the Dons at home to the tune of 86-57. The win was nothing new for Verdugo Hills as they're now sitting on three straight.
Verdugo Hills got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Alexander Martinez out in front who shot 4-for-5 from long range and dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. Georges Abdulnour was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds.
Verdugo Hills has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 18-11 record this season. As for Dorsey, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-18.
Verdugo Hills will take on Marquez at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Verdugo Hills has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,121 points over their last 16 matchups. Dorsey does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
