The Windham Whippets's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They strolled past Griswold with points to spare, taking the game 60-42. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Windham has managed all season.
Windham got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tahj Jones out in front who scored ten points along with seven assists and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Anden Gonzalez , who scored 14 points along with five rebounds.
The win got Windham back to even at 2-2. As for Griswold, they have fallen quite a ways from their 21-4 record last season and are now at 0-3.
Windham and Enfield will round out the year against one another at 2:00 p.m. on Friday at. Enfield comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Griswold, they will head out on the road to face off against Montville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Montville and Griswold are at an even 4-4 over their past eight head-to-heads.
