Grady Kelley Tops All Others This Week
Starting off the list is Central Valley's Grady Kelley, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Kelley rushed for 255 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 15.0 yards per carry, and also picked up 31 receiving yards. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 129 rushing yards dating back to last season.
The win made it two in a row for Central Valley and bumps their season record up to 2-0. Kelley and Central Valley will challenge Stanton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Zaden Wolf Delivers Electric Effort Vs West Holt
Another Central Valley player making an appearance on this list is Zaden Wolf. He rushed for 134 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also threw for 86 yards and a touchdown on only eight passes. His longest rush was for an impressive 63 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Chambers/Wheeler Central Benefited from Pokorny in 56-48 Win
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Cooper Pokorny stepped things up a notch to give Chambers/Wheeler Central the 'W'. North Central had no answer to Pokorny as he rushed for 138 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.3 yards per carry. Pokorny also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making ten total tackles and defending three passes which he returned for a touchdown.
Chambers/Wheeler Central's win bumped their record up to 2-0. Pokorny and Chambers/Wheeler Central will head out on the road to take on Elgin/Pope John at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Another Chambers/Wheeler Central player making an appearance on this list is Michael Jesse. He rushed for 114 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 68 yards and two touchdowns. He didn't just play on offense: he also made six total tackles and defended a pass.
