It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 14-60, which was the final score in Chequamegon's tilt against Eleva-Strum last Saturday.
Meanwhile, if Auburndale were riding high off their 35-6 takedown of Marathon two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Auburndale were given a punishing 7-47 loss at the hands of Stratford. Auburndale's low-scoring loss was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the contest before.
Chequamegon took a serious blow against Auburndale the last time the two teams met, falling 8-50. Can Chequamegon avenge their defeat, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
