The Carroll Cougars entered their tilt with the Caston Comets with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Carroll strolled past Caston with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 45-31. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Carroll also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.

Carroll has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season. As for Caston, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-2.
Carroll will be playing in front of their home fans against Lafayette Jefferson at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lafayette Jefferson will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 308th, while Carroll is ranked 51st). As for Caston, they will head out on the road to take on Bremen at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Bremen focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 last Thursday.
