Maple Mountain was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .458. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Skyline only posted a batting average of .150.
The victory was the 15th in a row for Maple Mountain, bringing their record up to 25-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Skyline, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-14.
