Mound City won the last time they faced North Andrew and things went their way on Friday too. The Mound City Panthers walked away with a 41-30 win over the North Andrew Cardinals. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Mound City has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.3 points per game. As for North Andrew, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Mound City Panthers face off against the DeKalb Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for DeKalb: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home, while Mound City has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road. As for North Andrew, they will head out to take on King City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
