In what's become a running theme this season, the Humboldt Cubs gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 67-47 margin over Caney Valley. The victory was nothing new for Humboldt as they're now sitting on five straight.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Humboldt to victory, but perhaps none more so than Colden Cook, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Sam Hull, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds.
Humboldt's victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-2. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 28.2 points. As for Caney Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4-2.
Humboldt will head out on the road to challenge the Blue Streaks on Tuesday. As for Caney Valley, they will be playing at home against the Chargers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
