The biggest upset of the week belonged to Bridgman, who took down 298th ranked Beatty, 22-21.
Brandywine extended the longest winning streak in Lakeland this week by beating Buchanan, 15-14. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Bobcats.
The Bucks' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Alex Leiter threw for 59 and 1 touchdown and Alex Martinez had 35 yards receiving. On the ground Doug Freeman contributed 105 yards. Freeman helped Buchanan's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 19 yards.
Marquise Curtis provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Rangers lost to the Bees.
Martinez was the best wideout in the league this week as Buchanan lost to Brandywine. Martinez tallied 1 reception for 35 yards. Freeman helped Buchanan's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 19 yards.
On the heels of Leiter and Freeman, Mike Kuntz's team has had great success on offense. Leiter leads the league in passing with 309 yards, while Freeman has rushed for 862 yards this season. Beatty's Tymari Brown leads the league in receiving yards with 134 on 5 catches.
The Bucks are currently in fourth, while Bridgman is in second.
Eric Haskins' team scaled the state rankings by moving to 329 from 394 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Bees climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Dan Purlee's team 22-21.
