The Sacred Heart Indians stacked a 21st blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 87-60 win over San Juan Diego Catholic at home. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Sacred Heart got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Nic Angerstein out in front who almost dropped a triple-double on 25 points, ten rebounds, and nine steals. Angerstein is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 16 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Andrew Steffek, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 13 rebounds.
Sacred Heart is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season. As for San Juan Diego Catholic, they dropped their record down to 13-12 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
