Given their disadvantage in the MaxPreps state rankings, Weyauwega-Fremont should expect quite the challenge on Friday. They will be playing at home against Manawa at at 7:00 PM. Weyauwega-Fremont are limping into the contest on a seven-game losing streak.
Last Friday, Weyauwega-Fremont came up short against Wittenberg-Birnamwood, falling 13-20.
Meanwhile, Manawa ended up a good deal behind Amherst when they played, losing 21-40. This makes it the second loss in a row for Manawa.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
